Exactly what I am looking for. You have the option to use local or cloud base. No internet connection required. The cloud syncs across multiply computers, and best of all the encryption is with-in the local machine and not the cloud. Big plus is that it is free! I was using it on a Windows base version for some time and was happy to know it is avaliable for the Apple computer and devices. This made my transition to the Apple world very easy and with less effort.
